Initially 40 mg once daily. BP response is dose-related over the range of 20-80 mg.

Special Precautions

Patients w/ biliary obstructive disorders or hepatic insufficiency. Patients whose renal function may depend on the activity of RAAS (eg, severe CHF), those w/ unilateral or bilateral renal artery stenosis. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Not recommended during pregnancy (1st trimester) & lactation.
