The medicinal product requires dilution prior to administration. Intended for single use only. It should be inspected visually; do not use if the conc contains visible particulate matter or is cloudy or discoloured (other than clear to slightly opalescent, colourless to brownish-yellow). Gently invert the Vyepti soln for infusion to mix completely. Do not shake. Vyepti soln for infusion must be infused w/in 8 hr. During this time, before infusion, may be stored at room temp (below 25°C) or refrigerated at 2-8°C. If stored at 2-8°C, allow the soln for infusion to warm to room temp prior to infusion. Do not freeze. Infusion administration instructions: Infuse Vyepti 100 mg dose or Vyepti 300 mg dose as prescribed, following dilution of the vial content in a 100 mL bag of 0.9% NaCl for inj, over approx 30 min. Use an IV infusion set w/ a 0.2 or 0.22 micrometer in-line or add-on filter. After the infusion is complete, flush the line w/ 20 mL of 0.9% NaCl for inj. No other medications should be administered through the infusion set or mixed w/ Vyepti. Preferable to avoid use during pregnancy. Safety & efficacy in childn 6-18 yr has not yet been established. No relevant use in childn <6 yr for the prophylaxis of migraine.
